Since establishment, the Board has awarded scholarships to over Three Hundred Thousand (300,000) state indigenes in various institutions of higher learning in Nigeria and overseas including the physically challenged in primary and secondary schools in the state. It has also supported students financially at Nigerian Law School and Immersion course at French Village, Badagry.
So far over a Billion Naira has been released by the State Government as student allowances since inception of the Board. The Benue State Government has instituted various Scholarship Awards for indigent students of Benue State indigenes in the Federal, State and private Universities as well as Polytechnics.
